I know the complicated version. You get the useful one.
Why I built this
Weak perimeters invite exploitation.
Later in life, I had to rebuild my body, my boundaries, my accounts, and my discipline. I did not rebuild for vanity. I rebuilt because weak perimeters invite exploitation.
Hard to Exploit starts with Digital because that is where people are exposed every day — but the mission was always bigger.
Professional foundation
Decades inside the systems.
I have worked in cybersecurity since the ’90s, across information security, network engineering, and digital risk assessment. I served as a federally appointed DHS Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), and as a senior network engineer and certified IT instructor training civilian and government personnel.
That last part is the thread through all of it: taking complex systems and turning them into guidance people can actually use.
Service beyond the screen
I volunteer in a leadership role with TREA GIVES, supporting practical cyber-safety work for veterans and the organizations that serve them.
